The CertSAFE environment allows the user to have multiple projects open at one time. However certain portions of the user interface, such as the instance view and the palette view, only show information relative to a single project at a time. This necessitates a strategy for sharing these portions of the interface when multiple projects are open at once. Project Focus is how this is achieved. Simply put, these areas of the interface are populated with the information from the current focused project. Whenever an editor for a resource, or any resource in the project tree is selected, and that resource is from a project that is currently not the focused project, the project will become the new focused project.
